Real Estate General, Ltd. was founded by Jim Robinson in 1980. As president, Jim has guided the company through the ups and downs of the real estate market, successfully managing the company's growth to make it one of the premier builders of homes on Maryland's Eastern Shore today. This is a family-owned and operated company, where Jim is assisted by his son, Jimmy, who joined the team ten years ago, and more recently by his daughter, Kate, both of whom have become important members of the organization.
Real Estate General's early focus was on the Western Shore and Queen Anne's County where Jim constructed single family homes, condominiums, office buildings, and custom homes. Since 2002, the company's attention has shifted to the Eastern Shore of Maryland. There are two new subdivisions in Caroline County that owe their existence to Jim Robinson; Edenton in Denton and Heritage Hills near MaryDel. A third project Hambrooks Court is nearing completion in Cambridge in Dorchester County. In addition, Real Estate General, Ltd. completed the build-out of two other Caroline County subdivisions, which were Fairfields and Caroline Farms. The company's latest endeavor is Trice Meadows, located in Denton (also in Caroline County). Any buyer, from the first-time home-owner to those moving up to more customized homes, will find a design in Jim's portfolio to suit their needs and budgets.
